Curriculum Vitae
Jerome Ming involves an interdisciplinary approach in his art practice with outcomes often photography led and recently with a focus on making books.
Ming has an association with art education since the 1990’s and has previously held positions at the Design School at Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore and the Warsaw School of Photography and Design in Poland. He was a participating artist in the STUDIOLOG project at HSLU and collaborated with Varsha Nair for the Master Dialogue in 2019.
Jerome Ming studied Fine Arts at Trent Polytechnic in Nottingham (England), Photojournalism at The London Institute (England), and has a Masters in Fine Art (Photography) from the University of Hartford (USA). Ming received MACK’s First Book Award for his debut monograph ‘Oobanken’ in 2019.
He currently lives in Tokyo.
