The Importance of Being Right

Don’t believe everything you think! Today is not the time. The knowledge we possess is as ordinary for us as the underwear we put on every day. We do not bother ourselves with checking, refining or deepening present background knowledge. No complications! We have no time for it... Stress is not welcomed here! We do not reflect on putting our clothes on or tying our shoelaces, but rather perform these mundane actions bluntly and firmly. It is equally effortless and routine for an individual to arrive at their own, «original» judgments.

The human eye is directed towards the external world, whereas the inner eye stares into darkness. The artwork The Importance of Being Right aims to explore the ideas that shape the world and stand between the humans and the realities in which they live. The material of their «skin» is a sum of it. The form it takes is a consequence of it. The movements they make are inevitable. Is it possible they could be avoided?
